Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Subscription Pilot websites and products, including the landing site, waitlist, interactive demo, Subscription Pilot app, and free tools such as Subscription Hunter (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
What we offer
Subscription Pilot helps you detect and review recurring charges from a bank or credit card statement CSV you provide. Scanning is designed to run locally in your browser. Subscription Hunter is a free calculator where you tap or enter subscriptions to estimate monthly, yearly, and longer-term spend. Features may change as we iterate, especially during private beta.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Services. Some features may require joining a waitlist, receiving beta access, or creating an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for keeping access credentials confidential if we issue them.
Local processing and your data
Statement CSVs are processed in your browser by design. We do not require bank login credentials and we do not use AI or third-party AI APIs to process your statement. Nothing from a scan is uploaded or stored on our servers unless you explicitly choose to save results. See our Privacy Policy for details on waitlist data, analytics, and optional saved results.
No bank connection; no financial advice
The Services do not connect to your bank, do not move money, and do not cancel subscriptions for you. Detected or estimated charges may be incomplete or incorrect. Subscription Pilot and Subscription Hunter are informational tools only, not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. You are responsible for verifying charges with your statements and providers before cancelling or changing anything.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to disrupt them, reverse engineer them except where allowed by law, scrape them in a way that harms availability, upload unlawful content, or use the Services to violate others’ rights. You may only upload statement files you are authorized to use.
Beta and availability
Private beta and free tools are provided as available. We may limit seats, change features, rate-limit usage, or discontinue parts of the Services without liability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Intellectual property
The Services, including branding, design, copy, and software, are owned by Subscription Pilot or its licensors. You retain ownership of your statement files and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process submitted account or waitlist information as needed to operate the Services you request.
Third-party links and directories
The Services may link to third-party sites or show “featured on” badges. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT DETECTION RESULTS, ESTIMATES, OR EXPORTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUBSCRIPTION PILOT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you disagree, stop using the Services.
